"BEAR" PAINTING COLLECTION
A PASTEL PAINTING
The Grizzly LED "BEAR" statue, a tribute to Kelowna's settlement on the shores of Okanagan Lake, is a stunning view at night, illuminated in a magical glow.
The bear statue stands tall and proud, with a sense of power and majesty emanating from its form.
The blue light glowing from the LED lights creates a striking contrast against the dark night sky, casting an otherworldly aura over the scene.
Overall, the painting captures the awe-inspiring nature of the LED "BEAR" statue, and the magical feeling that can be experienced when viewing such an impressive work of art at night.
About the Painting
"BEAR" is an iconic LED Statue created by Brower Hatcher and installed in 2010, it stands on a platform overlooking the waterfront shores of Okanagan Lake and Downtown Kelowna. The theme of this statue is "Grizzly Bear" - which is the English translation of the word "Kelowna", from the local Okanagan/Sylix First Nations People.
The painting of "BEAR", by artist Jen Myhre, is an original works created using multiple types of Pastels & Colored Pencils on a specialty fibrous paper/board called Pastelmat.
